What to expect?
Sailboat weddings are great for small weddings with less than 10 guests. As with beach weddings, a wedding on a sailboat or yacht is somewhat weather dependant. There are some weather conditions that would make a wedding on the water not possible. However, a little rain with otherwise calmer sees is not an issue. All our chartered sailboats are equipped with indoor living quarters, a kitchen, and cabins. The same of course for our yacht charters. So unless there are storms out, high seas, or otherwise coast guard warnings all weddings will take place.
Sailboats or smaller yachts may not be suitable for young children, handicapped, or people who have motion sickness. In those cases, larger motor yachts are usually the better choice.
Wedding on the water regulations.
Sailboat and yacht charters are available in all of Florida and plentiful. But not all charters are properly licensed and insured. We only work with charters that have coast guard clearance and captains with proper licensing. Charters with more than 4 guests require special licensing and insurance.
Charters are usually a minimum of 2 hours with some charters starting at 4 hours or half days. Depending on the size of the boat, capacity and other factors pricing can go over $2500 just for the charter of a motor yacht.

We book only one wedding or event per day! No matter how small or large your event is. We exclusively will be by your side to assist you on the day of your wedding. All the packages include the coordination of services that are booked through us. Babette will be your personal wedding planner during the time of the ceremony.
All wedding packages or services we offer can be custom arranged to fit your wishes and needs. You absolutely don’t have to book the vendors that we recommend. You are always welcome to book your own preferred providers. But keep in mind scheduling and payments will be your responsibility.
