An Orlando wedding can be celebrated in beautiful gardens, historic locations, chapels, and theme parks. Many visitors to Orlando come to enjoy the many theme parks and activities that are available in and around Orlando. Just outside of downtown there are upscale neighborhoods like Winter Park and Winter Garden, that are inviting guests with beautiful gardens, manicured lawns, street cafes, upscale restaurants, and boutiques. So celebrating an Orlando wedding doesn’t have to be just with Mickey Mouse and Co.

Very attractive for wedding ceremonies are the beautiful botanical gardens and parks available in and around Orlando. We offer several pre-designed garden wedding packages and chapel weddings in the area. While Orlando doesn’t have a beach there are some locations that offer manmade lagoons. While this might be an option we honestly think that with so many real beaches in pretty close proximity why not just go and do the real thing.

Some of our favorite park wedding locations in Orlando, where we also offer packages are Harry P Leu Gardens and Kraft Azalea Garden. To name just a few. There are plenty of other options like Lake Eola, Bok Tower Gardens, Mead Botanical Garden, and many more where we had weddings before and be happy to create customized Orlando wedding packages.

Besides gardens, Orlando has also chapels, mansions, galleries to offer for small and large weddings alike.  If you are looking for a chapel wedding we can suggest the Mayan Chapel at the Maitland Art Center. There are several more chapels in Orlando we had weddings at. Just ask us!

Historic sites or Mansions are also an option. Some examples where we had weddings before are Cypress Grove Estate, Polasek Museum, Maitland Art Center, and Casa Feliz.

We can create an Orlando wedding package for you at any location. What we don’t do are Disney Weddings or other Theme Parks.

If you are looking for a simple Orlando elopement package without a lot of fuzz, that is economical in price and covers all the basics check out our ” Blitz Wedding” package we created for you in Orlando. This package can also be booked at any preferred location of your choice with 10 guests or less.

Depending on the chosen location wedding permits will be required. Some of our Orlando wedding packages will have permit fees included, some may not. We will apply for your permits but depending on the location they sometimes have to be paid directly by the customer to the location. Others we will pay and apply for and can be included in the package price.

If you are planning a Fort Lauderdale Beach wedding we are happy to help. Fort Lauderdale has just like Miami a lively nightlife but is overall less busy. Along the Oceanside A1A, you find bars and upscale restaurants. The beach there is usually quite busy due to the many hotels and resorts lining up right across the shoreline. Parking is also very limited and it is most times impossible to get a public parking spot. But there are many other beach entrances north or South of Las Olas Blvd that are not as busy and offer much better parking. There are plenty of accommodation choices in Fort Lauderdale and many of our smaller weddings decide on booking a vacation home on the beach. While the per-day rental fee may be higher than a luxury hotel, if you bring family and friends it may be much less than accommodating everybody in hotels and motels. Our favorite spot for a Fort Lauderdale Beach wedding is one of the smaller entrances in Hollywood Beach. There are no larger buildings in the background, wooden boardwalks to the beach, and plenty of parking. You also find some palm trees and the beach is easily accessible. There are several spots that work for a wedding, depending on the size of your event and how much parking is needed. Hollywood Beach is south of Fort Lauderdale Beach and much less crowded, especially during the week. There are lifeguard stands and regular beach activities so it is better to choose a time later towards evening. Weekends will always be busy.

Other possible beaches in and around Fort Lauderdale up to West Palm Beach are John Lloyd U State Park, but large cruise ships may pass by, Dania Beach, Loggerhead Park, Vista Park, Laura Park. Going further north towards West Palm Beach there are plenty of more options like Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach up to West Palm Beach.

Some wedding reception options where we had smaller weddings are the Sea Watch On The Ocean, Mastro’s Ocean Club, and several weddings at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort. There are many more restaurants and resorts where you can celebrate your wedding reception.

Reception at the vacation home.

Another option if you don’t wish to have your reception in a restaurant or facility is a private chef or catering at your vacation home. Just make sure the owners are Ok with you having the reception on-premises. We can help with all the details of catering and decoration at your vacation home.

To celebrate your Fort Lauderdale Beach wedding,  all beaches usually require a beach permit. Because there are different permits to pull depending on location costs can vary.  At our favorite spot, the rental fee is starting at $ 275 and includes all filing fees and insurance.

Planning a Palm Coast beach wedding? Flagler Beach and Palm Coast are known for their natural and unspoiled beauty. Long stretches of cinnamon-colored uncrowded beaches with plenty of nature to enjoy. The northern east coast of Florida is a gem in the raw with St Augustine the highlight and oldest city in the US. Most international couples are mainly visiting South Florida up to Orlando on both sides of the coast.  But the northern part set’s itself apart with old town charm, history, and plenty of things to do in St Augustine. From small artsy shops, great restaurants, and live entertainment be captured by the vibe of Spanish Colonial architecture. Palm Coast beaches are approx. 35 minutes by car from St Augustine and a 1-hour 20-minute drive from Orlando. While not the closest beach to Orlando it is not much further than Cocoa Beach.

For a Palm Coast beach wedding we prefer two beaches that are perfect for intimate wedding ceremonies. Washington Oaks Gardens is absolutely our favorite Florida park and you can celebrate a beach wedding or garden wedding. Either location is one of the best and most affordable in Florida. They also offer the rental of a bridal room to get dressed and picnic areas within the garden.  We held many weddings there and never experienced a lot of beach guests or garden visitors. The other beach we can recommend is River to Sea Preserve and Jungle Hut Beach. Beaches may have partial rocky areas that offer nice backgrounds for photos.

There are plenty of more beaches available but not always suitable for weddings. A southern option of Palm Coast is Flagler Beach and almost any public beach entrance can be used for your beach wedding. Some examples are Varn Park or Old Salt Park. In St Augustine Anastasia State Park and Butler Beach can be used for wedding ceremonies.

If you are planning a Palm Coast beach wedding with a reception we recommend celebrating your reception in St Augustine. For wedding receptions that are intimate but need more than just a table, we suggest The Reef, Casa Monica Resort and Spa, and Bayfront Marine House, to name a few. The Casa de Vino 57 is a great private wine and cheese tasting bar for welcome parties. If you have a small group or just for a candlelight dinner we can recommend the following restaurants Collage Restaurant St Augustine, Harry’s Seafood Bar, and Grille. You find plenty of more casual bars and restaurants in Flagler Beach.

Reception at the vacation home.

If you are renting a private property it is possible to arrange catering or private chefs for a small reception in your vacation home. Please be advised that you have to inquire with the owners if a private party on the premises is allowed.

For a Palm Coast beach wedding at a public beach, no permit is required. For Washington Oak Gardens a permit is required on the beach or gardens. All public beach entrances in Flagler will not require a permit to hold your wedding ceremony. In St. Augustine permits are required and will differ depending on where the wedding takes place.

Planning a wedding in South Florida? Crandon Park on Key Biscayne offers a breathtaking tropical setting for your beach wedding. The beach lined with many palm trees is picturesque and the park offers plenty of space and parking. There are also picnic tables, grills, and pavilions available.  It is one of the best locations for a beach wedding in the Miami area. Miami beach is usually packed with many visitors. From South Beach to northern Miami you find one hotel or resort next to the other lining up on the shoreline. Unless you are planning your wedding at one of the resorts, mostly all public beach accesses are pretty crowded any day of the week. There are a few exceptions depending on the season.

Key Biscayne beach weddings can be very private on weekdays, however as with most beaches, on weekends and holidays, you may have a lot of beachgoers. There are two options for your Key Biscayne beach wedding. Crandon Park and further south Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park.  Bill Baggs is on the southern tip and also has a lighthouse.

We have planned many weddings in Miami and 9 out of 10 times couples will choose Crandon Park for its beautiful scenery and space. If you have dreamed about a tropical beach setting with palm trees and a lagoon-like feel, it will not disappoint you. As with most beaches in South Florida, Crandon Park will require a beach permit with or without decoration. You also have to be on the Miami Dade vendors list to hold weddings on any public beach or park and need to provide liability insurance. If you plan your Key Biscayne beach wedding or Miami wedding with us, insurance is included in your rental fee and covered by Events and More Inc.

Other possible locations for your Miami or Key Biscayne beach wedding are South Point Beach Miami with limited decoration, Matheson Hammock Park in Coral Gables, Haulover Beach Park, and Sunny Isles Beach.

There are hundreds of other options for a Miami beach wedding offered by resorts, hotels, and facilities that are along the beach.

Depending on your budget your wedding in Key Biscayne and Miami can be simple or very extravagant. For couples that arrive with guests or larger weddings with receptions, you have plenty of hotels to choose from.  For smaller events with 20 guests, a restaurant can be more cost-effective. Since we are specialized in smaller weddings here are some suggestions for your reception, Ariete in Coconut Grove, Byblos Miami Beach, Rusty Pelican Key Biscayne, Smith, and Wollensky Miami Beach, Cantina Beach, and other Restaurants within the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne. For weddings with receptions at hotels, we had events at the National Hotel Miami and The Raleigh Miami Beach

If you are renting a private property in Key Biscayne or Miami Beach it is possible to arrange catering or private chefs for a reception. Please be advised that you have to inquire with the owners if a private party on the premises is allowed.

Key Biscayne beach weddings and weddings in Miami Dade on public beaches or parks must apply for a wedding permit. In most cases, liability insurance and membership of the Miami Dade vendors list is a requirement. We will apply for all wedding permits. Costs will range anywhere from $150 – $500 and up.

Key West is the southernmost point in the US. It invites guests with colorful pastel conch-style houses and lively entertainment, it attracts tourists by land, air, and sea. If you plan a Key West wedding be prepared that you probably will not be the only one getting married that day. It is a prime location for weddings. Once a fishing town and place for artists and those that look for an unconventional lifestyle, Key West is mainly catering to visitors today. It is still one of a kind city and a special place like no other.

If you are looking for a fun place to go with all-night-long entertainment, love boating, snorkeling, or fishing, Key West will not disappoint you.

Key West Wedding cost

Our wedding packages in Key West are substantially more than at other locations. Why? We have to travel to the Keys and it is a 9-hour one-way drive for us. Therefore we have to calculate for each wedding a three-day minimum where we can not book any other event. We have to also calculate our travel costs including mileage, gas, accommodation, and food.

Your Key West Wedding on the beach has some limitations.  There is really only one public beach suitable for weddings that don’t have a site fee or permit. Smather’s Beach is a thin stretch of beach with palm trees and white sand and quite picturesque for photos. Because it is one of the few options there may be several weddings happening at the same time. For weddings, at Smather’s Beach, we recommend only weekday weddings and picking a date not on holidays or in prime season.  The other option is Fort Zachary State Park. It is a beautiful park for weddings but often booked years in advance even on weekdays. Fort Zachary will have specific regulations and also a site fee.

What other options do I have?

Alternative options for a Key West wedding are to celebrate your beach wedding at a private vacation home with beach access, or in one of the resorts that have a private beach. Please keep in mind that rental fees can be quite high.

Many travel catalogs and sites show beautiful white sandy beaches with palm trees advertising the Florida Keys. However, there are only a few public beaches available. A very nice beach in Marathon that we can recommend is Sombrero Beach. In Key Largo, Harry Harris Park, or Rowell’s Waterfront Park may be an option if you don’t expect a larger sandy beach. Overall we recommend planning your wedding at a hotel or resort if you are expecting more than 20 guests.

With Key West rated as one of the prime destinations for weddings, you will find a wide selection of facilities, restaurants, and hotels that offer space for any size of event. We have had weddings at the Southernmost Beach Resort, Hemingway Home and Museum, and at the Casa Marina Key West Waldorf Astoria Hotel

Planning a Key West wedding in the summer is like putting on a winter jacket in 80 degrees weather. It can be very hot and humid.  We have been planning weddings in Key West for over 15 years and summer is not a favorable time to celebrate your special day. There is a big chance that mountains of seaweed are washed ashore during the summer months. While they do try to clean the beach as much as possible, seaweed has been a major problem in Miami and Key West the past years. It is very smelly and can be unbearable. We recommend late autumn, winter, or spring months for a Key West wedding on Smather’s Beach, where the climate is milder and seaweed usually not a problem.
